WISKI Academy: 2011 Wrap-up

During the last 2 weeks we have been running a range of WISKI 7 courses covering all of the major areas in the WISKI application. Practical information, as well as deep insights into the potential of the WISKI system were provided to the users. Many new skills were taken back to the organizations to further optimize their work in data management and analysis.

Attendees from several government Hydrological Services, Hydro Power companies, and other organizations came to our headquarters in Aachen. Through different classes they listened to the presentations and learned from the various hands-on exercises, guided by the KISTERS trainers. No questions were left unanswered.

In addition to the training classes, the attendees appreciated the exchange of experience and knowledge between one another offered during several networking sessions - an area which no class can cover.

The typical feedback following the course included "WISKI has already saved a lot of time for me and my organization. Now, with the background from this training, we can go a step further in quality and efficiency" and "Great to meet all the KISTERS staff and get their first-hand information".

For now we would like to wish all the attendees a great Christmas season and a successful start to 2012!

In 2012, the WISKI Academy will reopen with new and interesting courses for beginners and advanced users alike. Please check wiski.kisters.eu for further updates and new courses. To keep up to date on European News, sign up for our WISKI newsletter by sending an email to wiskinews@kisters.de.
